3-5 years' experience in food manufacturing operations

3-5 years' Quality experience in food processing

Demonstrated ability to coordinate technical knowledge with production activities

Knowledge of root cause analysis tools to be used on mechanical and processing issues

Support reliability engineering, maintenance, and asset management best practices.

Working knowledge of AVEVA PI historian or equivalent historian database experience is required.

Additional Qualifications - Competency Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of related work experience in industrial environment

Core understanding and experience in quality systems, regulatory inspections, and project management

1+ years of practical and proven experience in the area of EU-GMP medicinal Cannabis product development

GMP and GPP experience is an asset

Advanced experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Projects, MS Teams)

Exceptional analytical and organizational skills

Strong oral and written communication skills in English

Manage the Process Control Engineers and the Quality Control personnel working in the lab.

Work with the other project engineers and the maintenance team to ensure designs conform to process requirements for any new equipment.

Collaborate with all managers on quality and improvement opportunities.

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant manufacturing/process engineering or similar discipline; or five (5) years of equivalent training and experience.

WCM, Kaizen, or Lean Six Sigma experience.

Excellent problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work independently on assigned tasks.

Experienced on Alarm Management Cycle, High Performance and Abnormal Situation Management Operator Displays.

Adept to Project Management Cycle in a multifunctional environment.

Must have a safety-focused mindset and strong knowledge of safe work practices.

5+ years’ experience in process industry (pulp and paper experience is an asset).

In depth knowledge of Advanced Process Control Strategies and loop tuning methods.

Knowledge on OT/IT Manufacturing Best Practices and Industrial Automation Cybersecurity.
