Power Systems Automation Specialist Jobs

Responsible for communicating time estimates, resource requirements, and progress on design tasks to Design Manager and to the Program Manager

Review electrical requirements with respect to input and output devises with electrical designers.

Communicate requested design changes to GAA team or respective manager.

5+ years’ experience in special purpose equipment and/or automation design

Experience with robotic cells and assembly systems an asset

Working knowledge of common machine shop techniques an asset.

Self-management of assigned projects and job cost accountability to perform work within budgeted cost estimates.

Minimum of 8 years of work experience in the electrical industry

Minimum of 5 years of work experience power systems

Experience with protective relays is highly desirable

Experience using Power System modelling packages like SKM, ETAP, EazyPower, CYME etc

Advanced experience in multi-function protection relays setting files and logic files.

Knowledge of ICT/Cybersecurity fundamentals, Intermediate to Advanced computer skills

Post secondary education in a technical area of HVAC systems, security and building automation.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC systems, BAS, Building security systems and automation.

Must be eligible to obtain Top Secret security clearance to meet customer requirements.

Strong understanding of OT, Enterprise Applications and Connected Services, DVM, Energy Manager, Forge, OBS, Pulse, Vector etc.)

Fundamental knowledge of 3rdparty IoT technologies and software applications

Financial management of projects to ensure cost effective and just in time provisioning, on time and on budget delivery

Budget management, PEATS system and financial tools

Management and financial tools like SAP

Manage life cycle of power elements mentioned above

Maintain and upgrade technical expertise to meet the fast changing industry requirement

Knowledge of Telecom OSS and protocols

5+ years of direct experience working with Building Automation Systems (BAS); less experience will also be considered

Good knowledge of building systems and relevant standards

Proven diagnostic skills; able to systematically identify and resolve technical problems

5+ years’ Sales experience, preferably in the Power Management industry.

Works with Industry Manager & Rental Operations Manager to liquidate aged & underperforming fleet to maximize best return.

Works with Industry Manager & Rental Operations Manager to investigate and analyze new innovative products within their respective product groups.

Works with Renal Sales Manager to develop and maintain a sales training program within their respective product group.

Recent college grad or 2- 4 years of direct experience working with Building Automation Systems

Good knowledge of building systems and relevant standards
