Hr Policy Specialist Jobs in Manitoba

• Manage HR administrative duties such as benefits, reports and programs

• Manage full-cycle payroll for employees across Canada

• Completion of the Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification with the National Payroll Institute

• 3+ years of experience completing full-cycle payroll for various provinces including Quebec

• Strong communication skills in both English and French a strong asset

• Knowledge of HR practices such as employee relations, HRIS, HR administrative duties considered a strong asset

Demonstrated experience in data management and data analytics using tools such as PowerBI preferred.

Manage the data integrity of the HR Master Data in SAP, ADP, and other databases including Benefits and Group Retirement.

Partner with Regional HRIS to develop HR metrics and various dashboard tools to provide information and decision-making tools for senior management.

Provide document tracking and records management for employee records and compliance areas.

Assist with background checks, and partner with the HRBPs and Regional Talent Acquisition Team to assist with general candidate management activities.

Strong technical capabilities with HRIS systems required. Experience with SAP SuccessFactors and ADP strongly preferred.

Manage the month-end and year-end payroll processing by running reports and assisting the Accounting and Finance team with auditing and balancing.

Data entry into the payroll and benefits system, including new hires, leaves, terminations, and any employment related changes.

Respond to employee and manager inquiries about payroll and benefits.

Additional education, including the Canadian Payroll Certification (PCP), or working towards certification is considered an asset

Experience in administering group benefits plans

Strong knowledge of Canadian legislative requirements, the Employment Standards Act, and CRA regulations
