Organize equipment and manpower to meet daily production requirements as set out by the Materials/Scheduling Manager/Supervisor

Minimum Education And/Or Designation Requirements

Communicate daily production activities to the Production Manager

Minimum 3 years direct Supervisory experience or equivalent in a Molding or Assembly

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in operations management

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the poultry industry is strongly preferred

5) Maintain accurate inventory records that are verified daily for both raw and frozen products

Possess a University education degree/diploma- in business/management

Strong critical thinking and communication skills (written and verbal) to share ideas and influence others, including senior management team.

Strong Financial acumen, including budgetary management.

Time management, ability to face production deadlines, shipping dates and more, must manage time accordingly.

Computer skills including word & excel

Lean Manufacturing skills including background in a consumer goods environment.

Knowledge of 6 sigma, lean-Kaizen tools, Quality Management Systems such as ISO9000, AS9100.

Manage day-to-day operations of the plant by setting daily/weekly/monthly objectives, schedules, responsibilities and communicating those to the employees.

Ensure effective implementation/improvement of quality management systems.

Perform regular project management, and resource management.

Maintain regular liaison with executive management and workers relating to production opportunities and needs to meet company demands.

Manage the effective implementation of all modules of ERP (E2 Job boss).

Experience in plant management and manufacturing operations Strong communication, management and supervisory skills

6+ years of experience in field

Oversee plant operations such as budget, production schedule and stock

Maintain clean and safe workplace

Analyze production costs and inventory to establish areas for improvements

Ensure adherence to rules and workplace policies

Numerous years of progressive production management experience in manufacturing environment (required) and/or previous plant management experience (preferred)

Routinely review business results with management team and set goals and objectives to achieve the expected results

A bachelor’s level degree in manufacturing engineering, industrial management or related technical degree (preferred)

Establish/manage plant operating budget, implement actions to control day-to-day costs and achieve financial objectives.

Establish workforce, capital, and material requirements to meet business needs.

Demonstrated experience developing budgets and managing financial performance (required)

Problem resolution escalation, SRI, By-Pass Management

Aware of shipping requirements and report downtime

DWI and MOS knowledge and follow through

2 -5 years related experience
