Production Supervisor

Skills

Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with good communication skills and would be responsible for, but not limited to, the following

• Assist in the implementation of Continuous Improvement activities with all personnel
• Coordinate set-up and process procedures
• Organize equipment and manpower to meet daily production requirements as set out by the Materials/Scheduling Manager/Supervisor
• Complete any other duties as assigned
• Promote an atmosphere of team work at all times
• Complete and/or review production sheets & reports and forward information to the production control department or input production data into database
• Investigate and report on all workplace injuries, property damage or near miss incidents
• Ensure all employees receive job appropriate training and understand all job tasks
• Issue Corrective Actions as set out in the Employee Handbook
• Communicate daily production activities to the Production Manager
• Contact maintenance personnel for necessary equipment repairs

Minimum Education And/Or Designation Requirements

• Must possess a secondary school diploma or equivalent, with preference given to those who have completed some or all of a College level program.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3 years direct Supervisory experience or equivalent in a Molding or Assembly
