Overview A Placement Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the placement of students into appropriate educational programs. They work with students, families, and school personnel to ensure that students are placed in the best possible educational setting. Detailed Job Description The Placement Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the placement of students into appropriate educational programs. This includes working with students, families, and school personnel to ensure that students are placed in the best possible educational setting. The Placement Coordinator will assess student needs, develop individualized education plans, and coordinate the placement process. The Placement Coordinator will also provide support to students and families throughout the placement process. Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with diverse populations

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in special education, psychology, or a related field
• Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of two years of experience in special education
• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
• Valid state teaching license or certification
