Pipe Assembler Jobs in Ontario

1 to 2 years relevant manufacturing experience

Aptitude to assemble complex equipment, install wiring, strong working knowledge of hand tools.

Mechanical and electrical parts assembly

Read and interpret mechanical drawings, work instructions and specifications.

Follow all applicable safety procedures and practices safe work habits.

Organized with attention to detail.

Pay range is depending on experience.

Our client located in Mississauga, Ontario is currently seeking a few Mechanical Assemblers.

Read schematics, blueprints and other technical diagrams.

• Operate and tend automated assembling equipment such as robotic and fixed automation equipment.

• Connect cables, tubes and wires to complete assemblies and installations.

• Mark, record and report defects.

Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.

Use basic math skills in order to complete assigned tasks

Two (2) plus years experience in general assembly work

Experience using power, hand tools and tape measures

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.

Day Shifts: 6:30am – 3:00pm

Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine layout requirements

Experience in blueprint reading, measurement, problem resolution

Assist with assembly and installation of pipe/tubing/hose for air, water, and gas systems

Assemble main air and water drops and run supply lines to equipment from main drops

Help tube or hose fixtures, material handlers, robots, weld guns, conveyors, and more

Responsible for learning table bending, hand bending, thread pipe, groove pipe, PVC pipe, layouts, and component assembly

Perform duties in accordance with current Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and Welbilt Code of Conduct requirements

Actively participate in safety training and demonstrate competency by effectively resolving safety issues or bringing them to the attention of management

Knowledge of range assembly and processes

Inspect product to conform to quality, engineering standards, and customer requirements

Basic math and reading comprehension skills

Load, unload, lift, and move materials and product utilizing lifting equipment when available.

Experience: 1+ year experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus

Assemble goods on production lines following applicable work instructions;

Carry out basic quality and testing checks;

Keyboarding knowledge and good leadership skills to provide training and guidance to team members
