Post-secondary education in business/administration considered an asset

One year related work experience

Experience using COVaxON will be considered an asset

Strong computer skills with the ability to use software such as Microsoft Excel, web-based applications and program databases

Post-secondary education in business/administration or health-related field

Two years’ related work experience considered an asset

Experience using COVaxON will be considered an asset

Previous experience of working in a unionized environment and adhering to collective agreements is considered an asset

Provides clerical support at community clinics including entering personal health information into the COVaxON medical records database, as needed

Provide training to other team members on tasks pertinent to the COVID-19 vaccine program to build team capacity

Ability to manage conflict and strong problem-solving abilities.

Neighbourly Pharmacy* is looking for a *Sales Clerk/Pharmacy Assistant *to join our *Rocky Mountain House, AB *location at *Alpine Drug Mart*.

Acknowledge and greet all customers with a smile and hello. Maintain a warm, friendly attitude toward all customers.

Develop product knowledge and learn about new products. Know product locations and store layout.

Request a cash pick-up when large sums of money are accumulated. Anticipate requirements for change before running out.

Inform the store manager of all customer complaints, comments, and concerns regarding customer service, prices, merchandise, etc.

Excellent organizational skills, effective time management, and the ability to shift priorities working within established timelines

Inventory Management (ordering, receiving and shelving)

Manage patient’s billings and accounts receivable

Excellent written, verbal and oral communication skills,

Computer literate, possessing intermediate skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred.

Daily tasks and responsibilities may include:

Kroll pharmacy software experience is preferred.

Prepares third party insurance claims, processes invoices and makes accounting entries using computerized system.

Orders, receives, tags and stocks prescription drugs and supplies. Follows product storage procedures and standards.

Cleans department by sweeping, mopping, spraying, wiping and dusting. Empties trash, operates trash compactor and cardboard bailer.

Reviews prescriptions that are not picked up as requested by department manager.

Orders product and supplies at the department managers request.

Prepares the paper work and compiles medicine for delivery orders and mail outs at the request of the department manager.
