Diploma and/or post-secondary courses in Business Administration (plus a minimum of 3 years related experience)

5+ years experience in Fraud/AML strategy and investigations with at least 2+ years in a leadership position

Strong knowledge of rule-based and model-based fraud/ML detection and prevention methodologies

Proven experience implementing processes/systems, enabling effective Fraud/AML operations and investigations

-Ability to manage a team of finance and accounting professionals

-Experienced and skillful in planning, budgeting, strategizing the flow of money for multiple corporate clients

-Excellent knowledge of financial and taxation regulations, laws, and any changes thereof

-Experience in team leadership, employee development, hiring and termination, and working with multiple departments of an organization

Manages all School “cost centres” according to University, Faculty, School and granting agency guidelines/requirements and are maintained in financial order;

Provides advice, training, and support to faculty who are “cost centre” managers regarding control and management of their accounts;

Conducts internal reviews to ensure proper management of funds as per contract agreements and funding agencies’ guidelines;

Demonstrates a commitment to enhancing one’s own awareness, knowledge, and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion

Experience in creating and fostering a client-focused environment that supports the delivery of high-quality financial operations/services.

Researches and writes reports for various business unit management including statistical and data detail, including:

Working knowledge of statistical analysis, cost benefit analysis and related analytical techniques.
