Successfully passed the National Council Licensure Exam-RN (NCLEX-RN)

Must obtain ACLS & American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) within 6 months of hire

Successful completion of a University degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or related discipline or approved equivalent combination of education and experience.

Staff supervisory skills including knowledge of collective agreement administration and interpretation, labour relations principles and practices, and relevant employment legislation

Sound knowledge of financial, budgeting and economic principles and practices. 

Demonstrated knowledge of applicable legislation, Acts, and industry standards. 

Leadership ability to coordinate multiple projects and ability to motivate staff and foster a positive team environment.  

Demonstrated ability in the Region’s leadership and corporate core competencies.

What you bring to the team:

•Bachelors Degree, preferably focused in Business

Experience in customer success and support.

🌎 Remote - Canada (US candidates will be considered but must work Mountain or Central time zones)

Support the roll-out thousands of new chargers products being deployed across Canada and the US.

•Financial knowledge and experience including operational and capital budgeting, fiscal management, and procurement.

•Experience with social profit, housing, social services, and/or a housing management body.

•5+ years’ progressive accounting, finance, and operations experience.

•Knowledge and/or experience with preparation of funding applications.

•Liaise with managers regarding all site operations; ensure adherence to policies, procedures, accreditation standards, and relevant legislation.

•Exemplary public relations, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively to enhance awareness of the Foundation.

Qualification in related field required

Extensive knowledge in technical services required

Experience working for a government funded organization required

Demonstrated background in similar roles required

Minimum educational requirement is post-secondary education in business or public administration, management, or a related field.

Exhibit and foster a collaborative management approach.

Knowledge and experience of First Nation political, governance, and community structures.

High level of expertise in the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and project management programs.

Manage all aspects of the organization’s day-to-day operations.

7+ years’ experience with similar Indigenous-led organizations.

Previous experience managing an organization or department and a thorough knowledge of not-for-profit or charity management principles and governance practices.

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Strong administrative and program management skills

Previous experience in managing diverse staffing requirements including full-time, part-time, seasonal, student placements.

Collaborate with the Chief Executive Officer to manage all of the day-to-day operations of Free Play for Kids.

Develop, manage, and maintain productive working relationships with the Board of Directors, participants, partners, and stakeholders.
