Ocean Import Customer Operations Coordinator Jobs

Outstanding customer service skills, overseeing customer’s orders from end to end

College degree in the Logistics field is considered an asset

CIFFA designation is considered an asset

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Knowledge of USA/Canada shipment handling is an asset

Intimate knowledge of logistics including Air & Ocean Import/Export an asset

At least 1 years of freight forwarding or related work experience is required

Knowledge in Cargowise software is a plus

Salary will be based on the previous work experience.

Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple shipments and tasks simultaneously.

Prepare import reports, providing key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to management as needed.

Prepare and review all import documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customs regulations and requirements.

A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in ocean import operations, with a focus on NVOCC shipments.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with clients, carriers, and internal teams.

Experience: 2 to 4 years

Should have CIFFA - Level I and II certification.

2 years+ of experience in Ocean Freight Forwarding.

Knowledge of Cargowise software is an asset.

Good knowledge of the Logistics industry and the key players within the industry nationally and globally.

Good interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Good organizational skills together with the ability to prioritize functions.

·Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of management and support staff.

·Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

·Understand and manage the customs process (eManifest, ACI, AMS/ISF).

·Manage ocean and truck forwarding moves.

·3-5 years of experience in a similar role.

·Strong knowledge of Ocean freight operation, documentation, and Customs Regulations.

Good learning, superior organizational and time management skills.

Negotiate rates by offering strategic logistics solutions, become a key aspect of customer operations;

1-2 years experience in Ocean Import and Export;

Excellent communication skills in English, French would be an asset;

Submit bill of lading instructions to carriers in addition to preparing, processing, verifying for accuracy and dispatching all appropriate export documents;

Advise management of any issues or problems with customers, carriers or vendors
