Job Description

Import Logistics Coordinator/Pricing

Main Responsibilities

§Provide assistance in developing customers account

§

§Provide assistance to improve products and services

§Preparing quotations for import air, ocean inquiries

§Processing air/ocean import bookings

§Verify bookings against costing to ensure all shipments are booked according to agreed terms and quotations

§Improve on an ongoing basis internal systems and procedures in order to favor customer service and departmental internal efficiency

§Maintain and improve customer relationship:

-Perform weekly calls on house accounts for general follow-up

-Promote Company's services and products

-Provide Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)

-Provide solutions to issues encountered

§Answer customer inquiries related to sales or service issues:

-Logistics solutions

-Problem or complaint resolution

-Price negotiations (customers)

-Escalating customer service issues to the appropriate manager

-Invoice dispute resolution

ANNEX AMain Responsibilities (cont’d)

§Create and maintain customer profiles and SOPs (EWB Maintenance):

-Update, maintain and improve customer information, routing orders and SOPs (OEC Montreal station)

-Set up automatic alerts and reports based on client requirements

-Setup POM and E-Booking System username credential

-Attend onboarding meetings and provide ongoing service to new sales clients

§Other tasks and duties assigned from time to time by the immediate supervisor

Candidate Profile

-Minimum three (3) years of experience in similar position with an International Freight Forwarding organization

-Experience of Air & Ocean – Import/Export logistics

-Must have strong skill sets in utilizing excel, and other MS office applications

-Basic knowledge of customs regulations (AMPS, B13, ACI, CSI….) an asset

-Customer service skills and persuasive abilities

-Organization skills, Time management

-Problem solving skills

-Team player

-Excellent communications skills both in English verbal and written

-Knowledge MS Office suite and experience with CMS (Customer Management System)

-Must be willing to learn and grow in this position
