Job Skills Required Nursing Unit Assistants must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They must be organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks. They must also have a strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
