Manage and maintain weekly reports for the management team as requested and required.

Order all underwriting requirements where required.

Prepare all requirements for mailing to insurance carriers and/or advisors.

Settle policies by following up on all outstanding requirements, obtain all necessary signatures.

Coach, mentor and provide ongoing development of the New Business Team through on-the-job feedback and training.

Accomplish department objectives and help to organize and monitor work processes to ensure all work is completed on a timely basis.

Excellent written, and verbal communication skills with a proven track record of stakeholder management

Complete analysis and presentations to support the development and management of budgets under New Business Development P&L

Act as the department’s point of contact for forecasting, spend management and reporting.

3 years’ experience in strategic growth/sales, business development, finance, or similar field

Exemplary Microsoft Excel skills and experience with advanced formulas to build sophisticated financial models and run sensitivity analysis

Act with autonomy, a self-starter that can connect next steps without relying on management direction

Facilitates discussions and follows a structured approach to plan, elicit, analyze, document, communicate and manage requirements with stakeholders.

Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed. Qualifications:

Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience.

Gathers requirements and documents these requirements for use in various audits, reports, & projects.

Works with project stakeholders to validate their requirements and analysis models via techniques such as reviews and walkthroughs.

Ensures system specifications meet expectations/requirements, and negotiates solutions.

Complete analysis and presentations to support the development and management of budgets under New Business Development P&L

3 years’ experience in strategic growth/sales, business development, finance, or similar field.

Must have a post-secondary degree with a concentration in Business/Commerce, Economics or Finance

3 years’ experience in developing and implementing new revenue programs – from initial concept through to execution.

Experience in financial analysis, statistical analysis, or financial reporting.

Draft comprehensive business cases, including financial modelling, and sensitivity analysis

4-6 years of proven experience in a business-facing finance role.

Professional qualification (MBA, CFA, or CPA).

Experience building business cases and forecasting using data-driven models.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and present business cases to senior-level executives.

Extensive Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace experience.

Experience with SQL and data analysis tools (Tableau, PowerBI).

Experience in a high-growth environment, startups, and changing situations, along with strong experience and understanding of technologies related to laboratories.

Deliver the architectural design for capabilities within your product group stack(s)

Designing and deploying ERP applications and modules according to approved solution design documentation.

Bachelor's degree in business, management, or education in a related field

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Proven experience in administrative or operational roles, preferably in a new business or startup environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs and Google Sheets Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in documentation and reporting

Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Professional demeanor, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion

High School Diploma required and some post-secondary education.
