Network Lead Admin Jobs

Location – Calgary, Day 1 onsite

Salary – 120K per annum

-Strong knowledge and Hands-on experience with Routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) as well as HA, QoS.

-Cisco CCNP and PCNSE Certification.

-Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Network Engineering & Datacenter Networking.

-5+ years of Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus, Catalyst series switches and ISR/ASR Routers.

-3+ years Experience with log and monitoring aggregation tools such as Armis, Splunk, SolarWinds, PRTG, and Wireshark.

-Strong understanding of Secure access solutions such as NAC/AAA and experience with Cisco ISE.

Good working knowledge/understanding and hands-on experience of Cisco Switches (Meraki), Palo Alto Firewall, Field Area Networks, Wi-Fi Aps.

Cambium P2P Radio Networks experience and knowledge is highly desirable.

Provides the senior skills required for day-to-day operational, Help Desk Incident resolution, and enforces policies and processes.

5-10 years of experience in network systems engineering or systems administration.

Hands-on experience of MS SQL database is highly desired.

Knowledge of Cisco Switches and Palo Alto Firewall is required.

Experience with systems such as SharePoint, Aconex or other collaborative project management tools and EDMS.

Outstanding communication and relationship building skills; ability to participate at a management level.

Supporting the wider project teams in use of document management tools and procedures.

Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including experience in developing and formatting documents.

Assigning work and resources to meet deliverables requirements and responding to changing priorities.

5+ years of project administration experience, preferably in an engineering/construction/rail environment.

1.Minimum, 10 years of experience in the field of network.

2.Minimum 5-6 years’ experience in Network security architecture, design, or operations experience.

5.Experience troubleshooting complex network issues and designing solutions to simplify and better instrument solutions

8.Architectural knowledge of virtualization tools and concepts is a bonus, to help architecture refresh discussions.

10.Monitoring and troubleshooting of LAN / W- Good knowledge on DHCP / DNS and other networking protocols.

17.Good Knowledge of QOS and multicasting required

Access the network for continual improvements of service for remote lab workers.

Design and implement networking labs based on requirements, from network IP assignments, to rack layout, and cabling.

5+ years of strong experience IT support.

2+ years of experience networking support.

Strong experience with Network switches

Experience with supporting DHCP, DNS and FTP servers required

5-10 years experience managing people and projects in related responsibilities

Manage a team of network and voice communications professionals

Effective leader, able to mentor and guide less experienced team members

Excellent communications and presentation skills

Ensure operational stability of networks, communications, and voice environments of all global locations

Diagnose and troubleshoot complex network issues.

Authoring of design documents, engineering standards and creates best practice technical architecture models utilizing knowledge of industry and technical trends.

Mentoring and knowledge transfer to team members across the organization. Participating in the weekly design meetings.

Engaging with project managers to develop the execution and test plans for network changes.

Strong presentation skills are imperative to be able explain network design, articulate risk, and facilitate decision making.

Strong security focus and experience with Network Security Concepts and Multi-tier Security architectures.

Onsite location: Montreal, QC (remote accepted for initial 4 to 6 weeks, then onsite)

In-depth knowledge of AWS account management, networking, container orchestration, fault tolerance tools etc.

Collaborate across Enterprise Trust teams and product teams for driving consistency in experiences, and control features

Define actionable vision for the next-gen administration experience

Strong technical expertise and 15+ years of experience designing/building SaaS and platform solutions

Excellent intuition for building consistent and intuitive user experiences

Experience with and experience with recognizing, raising, and reconciling gaps and redundant efforts across organizations

Follow Customer change management requests and will represent network services security at change request meetings and change advisory board (CAB) meetings.

Required Skills ,Wireless Networking - Cisco

Create substantial technical documentation of design, processes, procedures and configurations for support and audit purposes.

Work closely with the Telecom architects and Operations Support to ensure the telecommunications infrastructure for critical systems to the meet up

Inclusion in the network services on-call rotation.

Provide senior support to the VENDOR team for major incidents.

5+ years’ proven knowledge and demonstrable experience of:

LAN & WAN networking, TCP/IP, load balancing principles, infrastructure management concepts, and common internet services/protocols

3+ years’ proven knowledge and demonstrable experience of:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conducting presentations, demonstrations and knowledge sharing to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen actively and adapt communication style to different audiences

Familiarity and demonstrated working knowledge of Azure platforms, VMWare vCloud, including vRealize Suite

Experience with Microsoft Azure administration, management, Application Services, Virtual Servers, and security 3-5+ years of experience

Experience and knowledge of network and cloud security structures, OWASP, and vulnerability mitigation

Experience with VMware, Hyper-V and remote assistance technology

Possess fundamental knowledge of networking concepts

Experience managing MS Office 365 and Exchange (not essential)

Proven working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Window Server
