Natural Gas Marketer Jobs

Operate the production plant safely and reliably by complying with regulatory requirements

Manage subcontractors (welder, crane operator, electrician...)

Manage spare parts and anticipate supplies

5+ years Industrial Maintenance experience, preferably in chemical or gas industry

Experience in maintenance and repair of both building systems and manufacturing equipment

Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical processes

Good listening and communication skills are my gifts

Abilities to perform, entertain and sing loudly for all to hear are talents (not required)

Ability to often lift and/or manage holding 10-25 lbs.

Actively supports change management through the stewardship of delivering new

Use of in-depth knowledge of contracts, work closely with Business Development and Trading

Minimum 8+ industry experience in Natural Gas logistics and analytics

Formal education in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field

Proven experience in Business Development and weekend balance trading is an asset

Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills

Effective verbal and written communication skills and familiarity with PC applications including Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, SharePoint

Must be a self-motivated individual who is able to work effectively under minimal supervision

Must have a valid Class 5 Drivers’ License

Manages gas supply and demand balances for the defined region, delivering reliable supply and mitigating supply disruptions.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Awareness of natural gas scheduling, or similar operational commodity experience

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Proven written and verbal communication skills

Skilled in interacting and influencing across a wide range of professional teams

Work closely with Portfolio Management team on IRR analysis, attrition analysis, etc.

Maintain natural gas storage models for forecasting costs and benefits and ensure assumptions are in sync with natural gas pricing models

Bachelor's Degree in a business/analytical field of study (e.g. Business, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics)

Extensive knowledge of the wholesale and retail natural gas landscape including price points, transportation, and storage

Strong business acumen and data-driven decision-making capabilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
