Years and Range of Experience Required to Perform the Job:

Bilingual Mortgage Operations Specialist - Toronto

Experience with emerging communications and technology (i.e., web based meetings, social media, Digital Banking and Mobile Applications )

Previous experience as a mortgage lender

Strong knowledge of the mortgage origination business and home financing products

Excellent presentation and organizational skills

Continuous learning - product knowledge, selling skills and relationship management techniques

Superior organizational and time management skills in order to manage multiple client files simultaneously

Experience in financial services/Wealth management, and/or mortgage sales is a definite asset

Delivery of established sales targets for assigned territories working in tandem with the Business Development Manager(s)

Effectively manage a pipeline of mortgage files and ensure consistent and timely follow-up for active and potential clients

Superior sales and interpersonal skills

What You Need To Know

Achieve and maintain monthly all targets and standards as set by management

Mortgage Collection or related legal administrative experience an asset

Working knowledge of Residential Default process, Mortgage Origination & Servicing process preferred

Responsible for all outbound and inbound contact from all clients and related parties in order to cure arrears

Review and action all assigned workflow to ensure that files are followed up on in a timely manner to remedy default

Maintain a best-in class relationship with clients, subsequent encumbrances, solicitors and brokers
