Bilingual Mortgage Operations Specialist - Toronto

Continuous learning - product knowledge, selling skills and relationship management techniques

Superior organizational and time management skills in order to manage multiple client files simultaneously

Experience in financial services/Wealth management, and/or mortgage sales is a definite asset

Delivery of established sales targets for assigned territories working in tandem with the Business Development Manager(s)

Effectively manage a pipeline of mortgage files and ensure consistent and timely follow-up for active and potential clients

Administrative Support - Assist the Mortgage Advisor in activities to support their business

What You Need To Know

Achieve and maintain monthly all targets and standards as set by management

Mortgage Collection or related legal administrative experience an asset

Working knowledge of Residential Default process, Mortgage Origination & Servicing process preferred

Responsible for all outbound and inbound contact from all clients and related parties in order to cure arrears

Review and action all assigned workflow to ensure that files are followed up on in a timely manner to remedy default

Maintain a best-in class relationship with clients, subsequent encumbrances, solicitors and brokers

Experience with emerging communications and technology (i.e., web based meetings, social media, Digital Banking and Mobile Applications )

Previous experience as a mortgage lender

Strong knowledge of the mortgage origination business and home financing products

Excellent presentation and organizational skills

Verifies mortgage approvals for compliance with regulatory requirements and operational and credit policies.

Verify, review, and track all requested documents in mortgage management software

Use documentation to perform functions, such as calculating verified income or verifying assets, and update mortgage management software accordingly

Maintain a focus on enhancing customer service skills and knowledge

Order all necessary documents to satisfy AUS findings, investor and agency requirements

Ensure KPI’s are met as set forth by the processing manager

Review and confirm program eligibility as submitted, assist lender with necessary updates or changes

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities
