Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Act as Mining lead, Project Manager, Project Engineer on EPCM and DE and Project Delivery scope/projects

Senior level of operational hard rock experience

In-depth knowledge of Deswik, Studio 5 D planner and other mining industry approved software

Experience and familiarity with NI43-101 and/ or JORC compliant studies highly regarded

Provide technical and consulting services to mining clients

Excellent communication and relationship management skills

Assist in the preparation and implementation of Project Management Plans for mining operation

Proven ability to liaise effectively with operations personnel and senior management

Working knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code is a must, and familiarity with international standards is advantageous.

Construction site service experience & working directly with client is required.

Ensure that engineering deliverables (e.g., drawings, specifications, analysis, budget estimates) comply with applicable regulations, standards, corporate procedures, and sound engineering practices.

Ensure design work interfaces with that of other disciplines.

Recommend changes in plans and specify estimated costs.

Provide recommendations for technology selection and offer technical input to LP and Economics.

Coordinate remote support from additional Process Specialists as needed to support Licensor selection and technical basis-setting.

Possess 10+ years of experience in the Refining & Chemicals business with a focus on integration.

Previous experience in Project Engineering, Design, and Execution for refinery and chemicals plants.

Experience in chemicals derivative process licensor selection and technology analysis.

Experience in providing technical services for Olefins and Polymers.

Coordinate and execute engineering projects under the Management of Change (MOC) process and Project Delivery & Governance Lifecycle framework (PDGL);

Possess advanced computer skills, analytical capabilities and the ability to problem solve;

Manage engineering activities relating to the operation and integrity of facilities, including regulatory functions but not limited to AER, ABSA, TSASK;

Maintain interface between Engineering, Operations, Commercial, Projects, Finance and Accounting teams;

Participate in knowledge sharing discussions with operation engineering team;

5 + years of experience in natural gas processing is ideal but consideration will be given to engineers in training;

Define facility requirements and system performance

Coordinate the project plan based on current requirements and findings, and make corrections when required

5+ of experience working on heavy industrial projects

Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills

Strong knowledge of mining facilities and integration of project work

Develop and monitor project objectives

Experience analyzing, researching and preparing technical reviews and/or reports;

Experience working cooperatively as team lead or as part of a team;

Experience working with assessment, mining and environmental legislation, regulations and policies;

Experience engaging with First Nation governments, non-governmental organizations and the public;

Experience working with the Umbrella Final Agreement and Yukon First Nation Agreements would be considered an asset.

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, both written and oral

Manage spreadsheets, technical information (43-101, PEA, etc.).

10 years+ technical mining experience gained as an engineer or geologist

Experience in a startup or very entrepreneurial environment helpful

Hybrid role split between Toronto and from home

15+ years’ proven technical and management experience with an engineering consulting firm or other large organization; construction experience is desirable.

Comply with relevant business management system (or quality) policies & procedures.

Manage technical discussion with third parties (customer, suppliers, and regulators) to facilitate appropriate technical decisions.

Previous experience in Minerals & Metals is a must, and Oil & Gas would be an asset

Previous experience leading and guiding engineering teams.

Candidates will be a Professional Engineer and be registered with APEGA with 5-10 years’ experience in a technical engineering role;

Demonstrated knowledge of safe work practices and protocols applied in the industry;

Pipeline and oilfield maintenance, construction and commissioning experience;

Support plant safety through the Management of Change (MOC) process and participation in hazard reviews

Computer programming skills ideally with experience programming in Python/Linux

Assistant Manager – Mining Operations

Schedule and direct all mining activities including stripping, drilling, blasting, haulage, reclamation.

Strong leadership and management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage people.

Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail.

A solid understanding of MS Project Management and Oracle applications would also be an asset.

Education: University degree in Mining Engineering or in a related engineering discipline (Geology, Mines, Mineralogy, Environmental Mineralogy, Soil Science etc.).

A minimum of 5 - 10 years technical experience in a minerals related profession.

Over 5 years of working experience in estimating project budgets from the start until the completion of a project.

Technical Support: Provide technical support to Corporate Mining Manager in evaluating mining operations, geological data analysis, and mine planning.

Knowledge in mining and geological principles, practices, and regulations.

Knowledge Autocad and MS Office

Knowledge of crushing/screening process is a plus

Data Analysis: Assist in the collection, organization, and analysis of geological and mining data to support operational decision-making and resource estimation.

5-10 years relevant industry experience in Project Management for Mining, Minerals, and Metals (MM&M),

Assist in developing, communicating, implementing and regularly review systems, strategies, standards and processes (including environmental plans or health management programs) .

Regularly provide clear reports to project management.

Demonstrable commitment to HSE Management in a project environment;

Identify, document, communicate and meet the client's requirements.

Effectively manage assigned budgets within Worley’s total scope.

Solid experience in the areas of project management of technical and trade-off studies.

A degree in Mining Engineer with more than 15 years’ experience relevant to the responsibilities listed above.
