Knowledge of project management including cost control, scheduling, codes, standards, specifications, corporate policies and procedures and applicable environmental legislation.

Supervise the project team engaged in all aspects of the project management cycle.

Integrate corporate requirements, commitments and initiatives into projects, including design requirements, environmental assessment conditions, Railway requirements, municipal commitments.

Identify and acts on issues and risks.; collaborates with Manager and other team members to ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Understands theories, principles and practices of civil and architectural design and construction, skills and proficiency in broad phases of engineering application.

Proven working experience in construction management

Postsecondary degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field

YOUR JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Minimum 5-10 years of industry experience including paving operations

Minimum 5 years at a managerial level

Estimating and field experience an asset

Planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating paving operations from start to finish according to schedule, specifications, and budget

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Drive new revenue through and maintain sustained business relationships with Key Regional Accounts, Strategic Regional Properties, Property Management & Ownership Companies.

Maintain senior-level relationships with Key Regional Account Properties, Strategic Regional Properties, Property Management & Ownership Companies.

Manage relationships, at a regional level, with purchasing company accounts, ownership and management companies, distributors etc.

Prior experience working/building relationships with clients ranging from C-level to front line managers

Skill Requirements and Performance Criteria:

Project Management and/or System engineering experience.

Above average Microsoft Windows application experience, communications and interpersonal skills are required for this position.

Minimum of 5 years maritime experience in Ship Repair, Ship Building or Ship Operational Experience.

Previous experience working with a defense contract.

Provide direction on way forward during Corrective Maintenance.

Conduct technical investigation into problems associated with equipment or system malfunction, including failure analysis and solution development.

Additional certifications or training in project management and construction will be considered assets.

Oversee the selection and management of contractors and suppliers.

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field

Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and construction management software

Construction Manager – Remote within Nova Scotia

Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and control.

Exercise its commercial responsibilities in the territory assigned to it

Participate in a complex discussion about managing a patient to maximize the value offered

Experience and demonstrated results as a pharmaceutical representative

Knowledge of the product reimbursement system and patient support programs

Support the Service Delivery team as required with the management of Service Providers conducting work on board the ship.

Canadian Red Seal (Mechanical, Millwright or Power Engineering) or Military QL5 certification in marine Engineering or equivalent.

Possess a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated technical professional work experience in the marine/offshore sector within the last 10 years.

Strong working knowledge in the maintenance, operation, design and/or troubleshooting of a wide range of marine systems.

Strong communication skills (oral and written).

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Obtain concurrence of the plant customers. Ensure plant change management systems are followed.

• Strong working knowledge to manage construction in Wisconsin state.

• Communicate plant requirements and monitor all contractors ensuring plant procedures are followed.

• Manages procedural aspects of the construction contract including changes, payments, submittals, and documentation

• Strong working knowledge of food safety considerations while working adjacent to food production lines.

• Strong working knowledge of MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Project, MS Teams
