In-depth knowledge of the city’s municipal utility (water, road, sewer) infrastructure

Knowledge of applicable health and safety legislation, including the rights and duties of workers.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

5+ years of hands-on experience and strong knowledge on traffic flows and firewall requests

Directly reporting to the Senior Manager, Information Security Advisor

10+ years of working experience as an IT Security Analyst and Networking

5+ years of hands-on experience applying network security architecture principles

Strong decision making, forward thinking and creative problem-solving skills to anticipate and respond quickly to technological/market influences

Previous experience working with Algosec is an asset

Excellent inter-personal, time management, organizational and communication skills

Ability to understand and interpret requirements and responsibilities articulated within project-related agreements related to PLA

Assist the PLA Manager with processing and tracking of permits, licenses and approvals.

Assist the PLA Manager with identification of required PLA (Federal, Provincial, Municipal, other) based on engineering design development

Participate in meetings with third party stakeholders and AHJ to identify and define PLA requirements, including pre-consultation meetings

Manage and incorporate stakeholder/AHJ input (e.g., Federal/Provincial Ministries, Municipalities, Conservation Agencies, etc.)

Experience and formal training combined with demonstrated performance and ability may substitute for stipulated academic requirements.

Thorough understanding and working knowledge of Municipal Engineering design and construction standards

Knowledge of provincial and federal legislation impacting on the Municipal Right-of-Way including but not limited to:

Highly developed interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate both orally and in writing

Excellent negotiation and mediation skills

Language Requirement: English oral, reading, writing
