Junior Warehouse Material Handler Jobs

Oversee Quality Management System for Manufacturing operation. Ensure all products are manufactured to the required customer, industry, or in-house specifications

Minimum 5 years overseeing Quality Management program - Certified Internal Auditor preferred

Order Picking and other Warehouse duties

Cutting metal, using PBC saw

Other general duties as assigned

Competitive wage; cost-shared benefit plan after successful 3-month probation

May also act as a backup Machine Operator; experience with Reach Trucks would be an asset

Forklift experience is a definite asset; we will train you on a Narrow Aisle High Reach machine

Knowledge of hand and power tools

Good verbal and written communication skills

Hourly rate*: a range of $19:00 to $20.00 per hour depending on experience and your ability to drive commercial vehicles

Proactively follow all Health and Safety requirements

High school Diploma or equivalent education

2 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment

Experience operating hand and power tools such as drills, saws and specialized equipment

Strong written and verbal communication skills

General warehouse duties including maintaining the condition of the warehouse

Warehouse knowledge and experience is required - handling organizing and storing of client materials

Well-rounded knowledge of pressure piping materials including valves, fittings, flanges and pipe is a must

Experience with MTR's is required

Forklift experience is required. Must have a valid ticket (not internal company training)

Material Handling Equipment (MHE): Operating a forklift/order picker for pulling and putting away stock, order processing, loading and unloading trailers.

Minimum of 18 years of age

Ability to pass a pre-employment background check

Ability to bend, twist, lift and stand up to 8 hours a day. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Position may require working overtime or some weekends for additional compensation

Shipping /Receiving, warehouse, or picking/packing experience is an asset

Ongoing Contract with the intention of bringing the successful candidate into a permanent placement

Using a Forklift Counterbalance 2 times per week

Manual loading and unloading product off skids and trucks

Following health and safety procedures

Inventory control among other tasks
