We are seeking applications from qualified individuals for the position of *Warehouse Material Handler* at our Kelowna store location. This is a full-time position responsible for the shipping, receiving, and handling of all merchandise to and from the delivery trucks as well as within the warehouse.

Main Responsibilities

• Assist with loading onto delivery trucks; ensure the accuracy of the picked products
• Assist with the pickup of merchandise by customers at the loading dock and safely place purchased items into the customer vehicle once the paperwork has been reviewed and completed
• Prepare pallets for outbound shipments, including the wrapping of products
• Will be asked to assist drivers with completing deliveries
• Unload containers delivered to the warehouse by use of pallet jacks, dollies, etc., and organize the store and merchandise
• May also act as a backup Machine Operator; experience with Reach Trucks would be an asset

Qualifications

• Team player
• Forklift experience is a definite asset; we will train you on a Narrow Aisle High Reach machine
• Shift schedule*: You are expected to work 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday on rotation with the team where you receive a day off in lieu.
• Class 5 Driver's license with a clean abstract.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of hand and power tools
• Adequate capability in handling basic math and completing paperwork and instructions is required
• Hourly rate*: a range of $19:00 to $20.00 per hour depending on experience and your ability to drive commercial vehicles
• Ability to lift 50-100lbs
