Job Description
We are hiring for several Material Handler Associate positions for an electronic manufacturer located in Burnaby, BC for an immediate start!
As a Material Handler Associate, you will be responsible for the organization of the inventory in the warehouse, operating a pallet jack, and data entry in Oracle system. If you like to keep active and are a team player, this will be a perfect fit for you!
What you need to know:
Location: Burnaby, BC (Transit Accessbile)
Pay Rate: $20.00
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 am- 5:00pm
Steel toed shoes required
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities
  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable quality assurance standards and internal SOPs
  • Maintain inventory warehouse organization, shelving & cycle count
  • Following materials handling and ESD control procedures
  • Work/liaise with Production, Receiving, Team Leaders, Purchasing and Program Leaders
  • Handle materials exceeding 30 pounds; use equipment such as pallet jacks, Forklift, and other tools
and equipment used to handle and move materials
  • Ensure all pertinent safety regulations are adhered to with regards to the safe operation and use of all
equipment, machinery and handling of materials following proper protective equipment measures.
  • Sustain and organize skidded material for quarantine
  • Able to use Excel and Word and help in administrative task
  • Manage replenishing of warehouse materials as per pull system
Qualifications
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, hard working
  • Previous experience in material handling is a definite asset
  • Able to lift items of at least 30 pounds
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • 6+ months of previous warehouse experience
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Use of math is required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent computer (excel, word) skills; Knowledge of Oracle is an asset
