Junior Software Operations Engineer Jobs

MVC frameworks such as Django, Rails, or .NET

Javascript frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, Ember, etc

What You’ll Need To Succeed

Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive approach to acquiring new skills and knowledge.

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and debug code.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Experience with web application development and deploying applications to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.

Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of existing features, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the platform's reliability and performance.

Experience using static and performance analysis tools, automated testing, unit testing, and configuration management processes.

Write technical design documents detailing software requirements.

5+ years' experience in a hands-on development role.

Working knowledge of modern C++.

Experience implementing complex game subsystems.

Experience with graphics libraries (DirectX/OpenGL/Metal) suggested.

Experience with a project management tool such as Linear / JIRA / Asana, etc.

Any relevant software development experience

Experience working on an agile team

Curiosity to learn new skills

Experience with a back-end programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, C#, Goland, PHP, etc.)

Experience with any of the modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue, Angular, etc.

Experience with or knowledge of functional programming and compile-time safety.

Experience with or knowledge of NixOS.

Good communication skills and the desire to collaborate with a team of good natured professionals in a variety of disciplines.

Experience with networking and network protocols: TCP/IP, HTTP, JSON.

Solve problems by writing or modifying research and development code and supporting others in its use.

Support engineers' and research scientists' use of our custom analytic instruments.
