Knowledge of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to effectively manage samples and associated dataand verify samples results.

Use Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) system to record and document analytical activities and results during the processing of samples.

Experience with samples preparation and cleanup techniques that are required for cannabis products for routine analysis of cannabinoids is an asset.

Experience with HPLC-DAD methods development and validation, writing test methods and SOP’s and competent in reviewing HPLC-DAD data.

Minimum one year of related experience in analysis using LC-MS/MS or GC-MS/MS instrumentation is desirable

Must have excellent communication skills and be a team player

English language skills in reading, writing and oral communication are required

Perform daily instrument calibrating and running quality controls. Assist in routine maintenance and trouble-shooting of instruments and equipment

Prepare and validate calibrators, controls, buffers, reagents, standard solutions and other solutions as required for routine chemical tests

Use experience and knowledge to investigate in order to identify the root cause of complex problems.

Perform identification, assay and limit testing of raw materials and packaging components to support manufacturing requirements.

Document laboratory work consistent with GxP requirements.

Write clear and concise SOPs; adhere to all effective SOPs and safety requirements.

Provide input on lab requirements and improvements.

Maintain current understanding of regulatory requirements.

Perform such other functions, duties and responsibilities as the Laboratory Manager may from time to time.

Participate in electronic data entry for clinical studies.

Possess laboratory experience and technical proficiency, comfortable working in a scientific or laboratory environment.

One year of related experience in chemical analysis using instrumental methods is desirable
