Irrigation Repair Jobs

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within an irrigation or construction industry.

Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Basic computer skills for order tracking and documentation purposes.

Prepare orders for delivery by carefully picking and packaging items according to customer specifications and delivery schedules.

Safely operate company vehicles, including trucks and vans, for product delivery to customer sites.

Positive attitude, with a willingness to learn new skills.

High school diploma or industry related education.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Monday to Friday 7:30am-4:30pm. No evenings or weekends.

Typically working in a 2-person crew, providing professional irrigation services to residential and commercial customers, including system maintenance, repairs, and installations.

Proactively diagnosing and correcting irrigation system problems.

Experience using Craftsman Management System or similar platform;

Demonstrated time management, problem solving, critical thinking and sound judgement skills;

Supports management of shop in alignment with The Craftsman Way (TCW);

Identifies and orders parts from the management system after completing repair plan;

Reviews vehicle history in Craftsman Management System;

Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field preferred; a combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered;

Experience using Craftsman Management System or similar platform;

Have knowledge of gas turbines and/or industrial equipment, project management and repair / manufacturing techniques

Interact with broad range of suppliers, senior management and customers, both locally and internationally.

Ability to effectively communicate with peers, subordinates, supervisors and management personnel.

Manage work in accordance with project cost, timescale, and quality targets

Continuously assess and identify improvement opportunities to the repair methods, and component inspection requirements/limits.

Where necessary, coordinate communication between Sales Reps and customers regarding repair and/or service requirements

Work with project scheduler, shop, and outside contractors to schedule jobs per customer requirements and our quotation

Work with Service Centre Manager to ensure smooth workflow on shop floor

Identify, if applicable, the deviations between the parts and the requirements of the engineering drawing;

Manage and maintain the quality record book;

Write certificates of conformity or other required certification; and

Detach parts from the airplane or parts of structures with difficult access for inspection, repair, alteration or assembly;

Identify detached parts or structural parts to be repaired, modified or assembled in accordance with parts lists and procedures in place;

Manually and/or electronically complete the appropriate forms and technical documents according to the procedures in place;
