Investigations Officer Jobs in Manitoba

Extensive experience working in the securities industry (IIROC, MFDA, CSA), preferably in a Compliance or risk management role

Strong organization and records management skills are required

Maintain the records management system for relevant policy records and data to support Compliance reporting, assurance, and audit purposes

Manage and maintain the client complaint handling program for all lines of business of Aviso Wealth

Extensive experience in compliant and investigation handling

Fluent Communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset

Proven time management, organizational and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Assisting the Manager and/or Senior Management with research-based projects relating to Professional Conduct.

Proven exceptional written and verbal communications skills, including experience with formal report writing.

Supporting the Manager with investigating new and ongoing complaint, report and unauthorized practice matters.

At least two years’ related experience, preferably in investigations or with another regulatory body.

Experience with conducting interviews and document findings.

Proven Leadership skills and Team Management experience

University Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum 10 years of experience in financial crime / fraud investigation

Extensive experience in conducting interviews including those suspected of wrongdoing

General knowledge of Canadian Criminal and Civil litigation procedures

Accounting / Forensic accounting knowledge
