3+ years of design experience in an agency or in-house setting

Experience concepting/designing branded content for social campaigns

Translate concepts into fully built out systems of assets for multiple mediums and social platforms by incorporating contemporary design solutions

Explain concepts internally for feedback and direction from Associate Creative Directors, Strategy and Accounts teams

Present concepts to clients for feedback and approval in a compelling and confident way

Oversee visual work consistently throughout a project to ensure it is cohesive and adheres to brand guidelines

Project management skills and experience.

Knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles.

Minimum 5 years post graduate professional experience in the industry (minimum 2 years local experience a must).

Good knowledge in all aspects of design development, Development and Building Permit submissions and preparation of contract drawings and documents.

Good knowledge of local building codes and bylaws.

Experience in a variety of project types.

Experience in a variety of construction systems including wood frame, concrete and steel.

Experience in 3D Visualization an asset.

5 + years of urban design experience;

Exceptional communication, organization and interpersonal skills;

Proficiency in graphic tools including Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, and Revit. Experience with GIS, Rhino and MicroStation an additional asset.

Masters Degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or Urban Design;

Professional Registration or working towards with AIBC/OAA, BCSLA/OALA or RPP/PIBC or equivalent an asset;

Post-secondary degree in Industrial Design, Design Engineering, or equivalent work experience/education

Experiences with ArtiosCAD is an asset

Manage and execute on multiple programs/projects while juggling multiple project deadlines

Work timely and diligently with internal teams to comprehend and/or clarify customer or project requirements

Knowledge of SolidWorks is a must (multi-body parts, sheet metal, weldments, GD&T)

Knowledge of ArtiosCAD for corrugate design is an asset

Good Time Management, Decision Making, Team worker, Customer Service, Innovation, Business Acumen Skills

Performing any other reasonable assignments given by Department Management or his/her designates.

Knowledge and experience in 3D Solidworks and 2D AutoCAD is a MUST

2+ years experience in SolidWorks and AutoCAD a MUST

Industrial Design experience in POP/Retail or Beauty or Cosmetics industry

Sound knowledge of Design Software, Internet Software, Word Processing Software, Presentation Software, Spreadsheet Software, and Database Software.
