Bachelor's degree in accounting, related financial discipline, or equivalent education/experience

Strong knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to finance/accounting

Previous working experience/knowledge of this bank’s financial systems and associated procedures would be an asset

2-4 years financial and/or accounting analysis experience

Knowledge of economic and accounting principles, the financial markets, and reporting of financial data

Advanced user proficiency with computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite, spreadsheet/modeling skills, and any other related financial software

Respond to ad hoc requests as required. Intermediate Financial Analyst Mandatory Skills

6+ years relevant accounting experience

Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a team-based environment,

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Experience as a Cost Analyst / Project Analyst is an asset

Provide extensive support to ongoing operating cost initiatives.

Preferred but not required: educational background in finance, accounting, or business admin

Experience in financial analysis (P&L review, forecasting, managerial economics)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities. Ideally, someone who is hypothesis-driven.

Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Statistics, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Provides ad-hoc reports and analysis on a timely basis to senior management, as required.

4+ years of relevant experience.

Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, and Outlook, and advanced Excel skills.

Support the month-end reporting, forecasting, and budgeting process for expense management

Prepare or assist in ad hoc analysis and projects as required by management

Thorough knowledge of Finance & Accounting processes

Collaborate with other Finance areas to support and promote process integration and efficiencies

Initiate Drive improvement projects for Finance, Monitor and deliver on agreed service level metrics.

3+ years of relevant experience leading and managing strategic initiatives and/or working in an FP&A role
