Overview An Infrastructure Security Engineer is responsible for ensuring the security of an organization’s IT infrastructure. This includes designing, implementing, and maintaining security systems, as well as monitoring and responding to security threats. Detailed Job Description The Infrastructure Security Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security systems for an organization’s IT infrastructure. This includes developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and standards, as well as monitoring and responding to security threats. The Infrastructure Security Engineer is also responsible for ensuring compliance with security regulations and standards, such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, and SOX. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of security principles, protocols, and technologies
• Knowledge of network and system security
• Knowledge of security best practices
• Knowledge of security auditing and compliance
• Ability to analyze security threats and vulnerabilities
• Ability to develop and implement security policies and procedures
• Ability to troubleshoot security issues

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in IT security
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA
• Knowledge of security regulations and standards
