Support the integrated implementation of data management policies, procedures, and changes across multiple functional areas across our department

Communicate analysis and impacts of data management issues and priorities to a diverse audience, including Senior Leaders.

Provide specialized management advice and support to teams, management, leadership

Solid understanding of data governance/data management principles and an understanding of data risk

Knowledge of, and experience in, implementing ITSG-33 Risk Management Framework and/or the NIST Special Publication 800 Series Risk Management processes;

Experience with DND, RCMP and/or other government department Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) processes for information systems would be an asset;

Experience with system and software engineering, and system lifecycle processes would be an asset;

Experience with the Harmonized Threat and Risk Assessment (HTRA) methodology would be an asset;

Experience with DND systems and networks, and/or with the Navy or marine environment, would be an asset; and

Recognized IT Security certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM and/or CISA) would be highly desirable.

Experience in SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO).

Interpret master data and transaction inputs and accounting journaling requirements.

4+ years overall SAP experience including hands-on configuration.

Experience with business process re-engineering and documentation.

Experience translating business needs into clear designs and produce high-quality builds.

Experience performing unit and functional testing of designs.

Semi-remote: 2 days work from home per week permitted

Engagement with internal customers to capture their requirements, evaluate and develop new applications, solutions and/or enhancements to existing systems functionality.

Technical lead on implementation of systems integration projects, including defining requirements, development work and functional testing.

8+ years of related experience, including:

Min of 8 years of cross-functional information systems experience supporting Operations and Manufacturing business units.

Min. of 5 years of proven experience in business systems integration and architecture design.

Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery.

Confer with the clients to identify and document requirements.

Education - Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent

Experience - 3 years to less than 5 years

Design, develop and implement information systems business solutions.

Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software & hardware.
