3rd or 4th-year Mechanical, Biosystems, or Industrial engineering education

Experience in food processing or agriculture is an asset

Experience in leading the implementation of Lean initiatives as an asset

Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge and/or Experience on Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) systems.

You have knowledge with the specification, design, integration, test and certification of Avionics systems on aircraft.

Write, Conduct or Witness development and certification tests on the aircraft and/or on rigs.

Manage, review and approve the engineering deliverables of the Avionics System Suppliers.

Liaise with Certifying Authorities and/or support their delegates in achieving system certification.

You have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the field.

Supports the vendor management system process by tracking vendor registrations and compliance approvals.

Administrative, coordination and organizational skills – administrative and organizational skills along with related administrative and coordination work experience.

Experience engaging with local authorities for requirements related to the design and permitting process.

Project Management software (RealProject or others as utilized by the group)

Demonstrates an interest in pursuing Project Management Institute Accreditation.

Provides review and quality assurance to project budget and project purchase order forms completed by team project managers.

Energy Management Information System (EMIS) software integration.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously and strive to exceed client expectations.

A desire to gain deep technical knowledge relating to industrial energy, resource conservation and process optimization.

Excellent PC skills, especially MS Excel, with software development beneficial.

You are familiar with Certification Requirements (FAR25/AWM525) ARP 4761 and DO-178/254/297 Standards.

Support aircraft and systems certification activities.

You have a minimum of 5 years working experience in System Development specific to the Aerospace Industry.

Prepare engineering stress reports and formal compliance documents to fulfill the certification requirements.

Report critical technical issues up through functional management.

In-depth understanding of airframe inspection methodology and past experience supporting in-service aircraft. Knowledge of the MSG process is also an asset.

Liaise with other functions when required to ensure stress requirements are fully integrated.

Maintain technical knowledge and awareness of developments related to aircraft structural analysis methodologies and related airworthiness regulations.

Provide mentoring for less experienced members of the stress team.
