Hvac Technician On Demand Jobs in Ontario

Maintain regular communication with the service office and assigned Coordinator, in accordance with established practices.

Maintain supply of forms, literature, inventory and miscellaneous materials in the service vehicle. Document use or sale to customer, as required.

Follow all established safety rules and procedures, including those established by the customer.

Participate in monthly safety meetings.

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Strong time management skills with proven sense of urgency to complete tasks and assignments.

Utilize your experience and knowledge for customer documentation development

Deliver an exceptional customer experience by maintaining contractual service levels

Maintain; or ability to attain, major vendor (HP, Dell, Lenovo, Lexmark, Xerox, etc.) certifications.

Comptia A+ Certification is an asset.

Experience with Tier 1 vendors (HP, Dell, Lenovo, Lexmark, Xerox, etc.). is an Asset

1-5 years process related technician experience

Experience working with Surface Mount Technology (SMT)

Previous experience in an electronic environment a definite asset

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Preventative Maintenance, repair, and implementation of work orders on diverse production equipment

Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical failures

Active listening skills and take direction from supervisor

The ability to Feed the Country!!!

Canadian certification as an Electrician is required (309A, 442A or Red Seal)

Dual-ticket certification (Electrician and Industrial Mechanic/Millwright) is strongly preferred

Experience in a manufacturing environment and machine maintenance

Sound technical and mechanical aptitude coupled with knowledge on how machines work

Good communication skills both written and verbal.

Knowledge of Health and Safety practices is necessary.

Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.

1-5 years HVAC trades experience (Journeyman, 1-5 year apprentice)

Experience working on Combustion / Boiler / Air conditioning

Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation, heating and air conditioning systems and equipment.

Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.

Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.

Useful certifications for this role:

Thorough knowledge base of the equipment and inventory needs to support your territory

Provide assistance and guidance to other team members regarding policies, procedures and overall equipment repair best practices

Comprehensive understanding of our company and customer service culture

Clear expectations in reference of call load, territory alignment and client satisfaction

Actively and correctly completing service calls independently.
