Google Cloud Platform Analytics Engineer Jobs in Ontario

Strong SQL skills (experience with Google Cloud BigQuery strongly preferred)

2+ years of proven experience building production-grade systems on the cloud (Google Cloud Platform preferred)

3+ years of proven experience building pipelines and applications using Python

Experience developing and/or deploying models in various frameworks (scikit-learn, xgboost, tensorflow, pytorch etc.)

Strong programming skills with emphasis on Object oriented programming, modular programming, code organization and software engineering best practices

1+ years of proven experience with Docker and containerized applications Familiarity with git for version control

Strong communication and client facing skills. The candidate must be experienced in dealing with client counterparts and other key stakeholders.

Cloud Migration – Experience in migrating platforms, products and applications to the cloud using an agile approach.

Cloud Service Adoption – Experience in adopting, enhancing and optimising a customer’s cloud solution.

In depth knowledge of one or more of the Cloud Hyperscalers (Microsoft Azure / AWS / Google).

Strong knowledge of Automation Tools, and processes. Such as Terraform, Github, Ansible.

Strong knowledge of Scripting Languages, and Toolsets for CI/CD Pipelines.

Experience in large-scale deployments, developing scalable architectures using API management, microservice frameworks, PaaS, and container orchestration systems.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

5 years of experience as a Technical Sales Specialist in a cloud computing environment or a customer-facing role.

Experience in cloud-native software development methodologies and tools to support application development/deployment stages.

Experience as a technical sales specialist or solutions specialist.

Knowledge of application security patterns including web application security, service mesh, and mobile security strategies.

Build and maintain effective working relationships with store associates and management.

Identify sales opportunities, communicate them to management, and close sales.

Audit Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager set-up to make sure it's collecting accurate data and reporting on the metrics

Ensure that Google Tag Manager and dataLayers are integrated cleanly

Understand Business Data and Reporting Requirements

Collect and decompose detailed requirements for development of dashboard/reporting tools

Guide best practices for data and analytics requirements, development, technical design/architecture as inputs to BRDs & solutions

Manage tech debt (sunset/enhancements) and support of existing solutions developed & maintained by BET Analytics

Create functional design and solution requirement documentation for metrics and visualizations that underpin analytics use cases.
