Global Travel Operations Manager Jobs

At least five years of proven operations and people management experience

People management skills including performance management, HR problem-solving, and conducting entry-level investigations

Trip operations management – shore-based support for crew and ship operations

Compliance – ensuring compliance with all government requirements, applications and permits, as well as agreements and certifications required to run tours

Project management – systematically improving the company’s procedures

Degree with applicable training in tourism management, project management, or demonstrated equivalent in tourism and hospitality, eco-tourism or adventure tourism

Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced/evolving environment.

3+ years relevant experience in a Legal, Compliance and/or Risk Management function

Experience developing governance documentation (i.e., policies, frameworks, processes, guidelines), reporting, and presentations.

Previous privacy experience, including a designation with the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), would be considered an asset.

Support industry advocacy activities in relation to upcoming regulatory changes.

Maintain Privacy's inventory of laws, rules and regulations (LRRs) and mapping to Risk Owners in coordination with the jurisdictional privacy offices.

Potential to evolve into site monitor line management role if skillset and interest warrants

BA/BS with at least 5 years recent experience in site monitoring and/or management.

Business Operations includes department performance management, metrics, and enhancement, departmental communication strategy & management

Clinical Systems standards and management

Must have strong knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements.

This role is also accountable for the management of budgets, timelines, and workload

Manage relationships with regional Travel Management Companies (TMC) and travel suppliers

Provide active operational management from end-to-end fulfillment to policy creation/maintenance, supplier management, compliance reporting and traveler support

Deliver incremental cost savings through sourcing activities and demand management

5+ years of supplier management expertise

Manage second level escalations on behalf of business travelers and travel suppliers

Manage travel policies, global reporting & scorecards
