Ensure the efficient inventorying of goods through the adherence of Plant Stores Standard Operating Procedures, processes and Purchasing Inventory Management procedure.

Community College specializing in areas such as Materials Controls, Inventory Management, mechanical, electrical is an asset.

Provide mentoring, cross training and transfer knowledge to team members to ensure competency within the work team.

Strong personal computer, standard corporate software applications and applicable business systems skills are required.

Strong interpersonal, communication, teamwork skills, decision making and problem solving skills are required.

Good relationship building skills and hand writing skills are required.

Perform any other task deemed necessary by the Supervisor or Production Manager.

Transport raw materials finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment.

Perform quality checks as required.

Assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers

Clean work areas and equipment

Receive, inspect and log any fuel or lube oil deliveries to plant sites. Immediately report any spillage of products to Manager.

At least two years' related mechanical or electrical experience required.

Experience with annual inspections and maintenance of LNG or cryogenic facilities would be an asset.

Participate in the continuous improvement of the Health & Safety program, Environment program as well as NTPC’s safety culture.

Responsible for the day-to-day routine maintenance of the Inuvik LNG facility, also support annually inspection of main & auxiliary LNG equipment

Monitor assist and report progress of outside contractors.

Proven project and time management skills, analytical and problem-solving skills and logistical thinking to achieve bottom line results.

Advise Senior Management on all important issues.

Post-secondary education or equivalent certification.

Assist the Director of Operations and other department managers when deciding on production issues related to equipment and machinery.

Advise HR on employee performance issues and labour utilization requirements.

5+ years of related experience in the automotive industry.

Complies with designated ISO/TS16949 responsibilities, environmental management system, health & safety and company rules and guidelines

Full training provided (no experience required)

1 year or less of job-related experience
