We are seeking a General Helper to join our team in Brantford.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures the continuous movement of product through hand-stacking, discharging and packaging of finished parts
• Operates bundle turner / pacman when parts require to be flipped
• Works in cooperation with the Operator and Shift Supervisor and references set-up procedures to ensure material is safely loaded onto production equipment
• Performs all other related duties as assigned by Supervisor
• Prepares packaging in advance
• Carries out setup duties as instructed by Operator

General:

• Maintains a high standard of general housekeeping consistent with 5S standards
• Ensures company safety policies are adhered to and safe work habits are utilized by all department personnel and visitors
• Wears personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
• Complies with designated ISO/TS16949 responsibilities, environmental management system, health & safety and company rules and guidelines
• Able to work rotating shifts (days, afternoons, nights)
• Strives for continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• 1 year or less of job-related experience
• Proven ability to work in a team and as an individual
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
