Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, EIT/IAP or partial completion is an asset

Administering consulting agreements and construction contracts for the maintenance, rehabilitation and expansion of Metrolinx’s network and infrastructure.

Forecast and report capital project expenditures such as consultant fees, purchase orders, construction contracts and change orders.

Participates in the development and review of estimates for project engineering, construction and contingency costs, and project schedules.

Prepare performance evaluation, cost analysis and lessons learned for consultants and contractors.

Completion of a degree in Engineering, Architectural is an asset.

Detailed knowledge of project management including cost control, scheduling, codes, standards, specifications, corporate procedures and applicable contract legislation.

Proficiency in the use of project management software and computer applications is essential.

Knowledge of the theory, principles and practices of civil engineering and architecture.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently and think analytically.

Oversee engineering and/or architectural consultant services for the execution of infrastructure projects for new construction and alterations to existing fixed facilities.

Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to address design review comments; coordinate other projects interface.
