Manage and supervise the construction of high-rise ICI projects

5 years experience in a General Manager / Site Supervisor role preferred.

Meet with Project Manager, Owner and Subcontractors to establish a list of equipment that will require commissioning and/or Owner training.

8-10 years construction supervision experience, preferably in low-rise residential construction methods.

Post-secondary education (e.g., Construction Technology, Carpentry, Civil Engineering, etc.) preferred.

Strong leadership skills and experience managing construction sites

Proficiency with project management software including MS Project, Procore, etc.

Ensuring deficiencies are managed and correct up to company standards

Three to five years and more of Superintendent experience in the ICI industry

Experience with high-end architectural + millwork packages.

Experience with multiple full-cycle new developments (Steel, Formwork, Concrete, Finishing, etc.)

Strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Degree in Engineering, construction management or similar field considered an asset.

Work closely with the Project Manager and Site Superintendent for Development.

A minimum of 4 years’ experience a Civil Superintendent or similar role and in build-out construction.

Knowledge of alternative civil methods – plowing and trenching.

Working knowledge of local safety and health guidelines for construction job sites.

Serves as a knowledgeable resource to the construction/project management team, sub-trades and provides overall company leadership and direction.

Technical Trades certification with 10-15 years’ experience or equivalent

Base understanding of Project Controls, material management, and procurement procedures

Manages Junior Superintendents, materials, and equipment as per the projected execution plan including the coordination of field construction staff.

Assists Junior Superintendents and sub-trades in planning work schedules, determining manpower levels, material quantities, and equipment requirement.

Minimum 5 years’ of experience in a Superintendent position

Exceptional organizational and time management skills to work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.

Competence in project scheduling, cost estimation and budget management.

5+ years of experience in similar roles.

Knowledge and expertise in concrete work, forming, and all trade activities.

Knowledge of environmental sustainability practices in construction.

CET, Engineering background, Project Management Professional would be considered an asset

Provide overall on-site management and coordination of multi-family residential construction projects from start to finish.

Collaborate with the project management team to develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost control measures.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficient in using construction management software and tools.

Oversee and manage construction activities, including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and safety.

Manage and supervise the construction team, including subcontractors and laborers, to ensure efficient and effective project execution.

Work closely with the Project Management team and update on any anticipated delays or changes in the scope of work

● 5+ years experience working for a Developer or General Contractor/Construction Manager.

● Post-secondary degree/diploma in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field

Previous bridge structure or concrete construction/demolition experience

Previous experience working on residential, institutional, and commercial projects with a spend of $50 million+

Technical diploma or equivalent combination of technical training and experience

Excellent relationship building skills with strong focus on client relationship

10+ years experience as a construction superintendent.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Leading and managing the on-site construction team.

Coordinating and overseeing all work on site.

Reviewing and becoming familiar with the schedule and budget, and ensuring adherence to these.

Ensuring quality standards are met.

A strong demonstratable safety background in with combined education and experience. An NCSO designation is an asset.

A post secondary undergraduate diploma or degree is an asset, especially one related to construction management, supervision or operations

Excellent computer skills and proficiency in MS Office applications including Outlook and Word and Bluebeam

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) are required
