Perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis and industry research;

2-4 years' experience in real estate, capital markets or corporate finance.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or related area.

Experience developing cash flow models, proformas and in-depth financial analysis.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

You excel in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to deliver results to the highest accuracy in terms of financial analysis.

Summer/co-op or full-time work experience in corporate finance, investment banking, accounting or private equity is beneficial;

Strong financial/analytical skills related to corporate finance and securities analysis;

Experience with financial markets software and applications including Bloomberg, FactSet and Capital IQ;

The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines;

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;

Analysis of financial, industry and market data;

1 to 4 years of financial services or corporate experience gained from a leading law firm;

Superior communication, drafting skills and a strong attention to detail.

A self-starter who embraces challenge and thrives in a fast-paced setting;

Have a combination of strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities and a solid foundation in finance or mathematics;

Demonstrated leadership experience (i.e. sports, clubs, extracurricular activities, philanthropy).

Research and analyze clients' financial situations, industry and market data, and mergers and acquisition opportunities;

Develop valuation models of individual private and public companies as well as merged entities;

Apply valuation tools to assess opportunities;

Demonstrated knowledge and strong interest in finance and capital markets

Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, engineering, or other relevant fields

0-2 years of experience in a M&A related role

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and French

A proven academic track record with background in finance, accounting, engineering, or other relevant fields

Strong analytical and quantitative skills (i.e. financial and data analysis)

• Build and update financial models, including the application of various valuation techniques and corporate finance concepts

• Ability to manage competing priorities and to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment

• Support the firm in coordinating sell-side and buy-side M&A transaction processes

• Conduct extensive company and industry analyses (trends, M&A, etc.)

• Work on M&A marketing materials, company profiles, presentations, pitchbooks and other documents

• Provide support for various administrative tasks

Prepare ad hoc reports and projects for the investment department and / or senior management

Prepare reconciliations of custodian and manager net asset values on a monthly basis and assist in analyzing exceptions

Calculate and verify accuracy of invoices from investment managers, consultants, and other investment service providers as required

Provide support to other team members in the Finance Department as necessary

Experience with accounting (ideally investment related), financial reporting, and external or internal audit

Over time, assist in the rollout of automation techniques while formally learning basic programming and automation software
