Plan for future staffing requirements and determine the experience, skills and personnel qualities needed to effectively deliver programs and services;

Ensure appropriate financial management of the organization’s budget, including appropriate bookkeeping and accounting procedures are followed;

Financial and Risk Planning & Management

Work with the Board to prepare, manage and execute a comprehensive annual budget;

Lead the finance, operations and compliance functions of a growing independent portfolio management firm

Experience at an independent portfolio management firm or in the asset management industry would be a strong asset

Demonstrated strong project management and organizational skills

5-7 years of relevant work experience, including a minimum of 5 years working in a finance or accounting capacity

Experience working with a small, dynamic team and a willingness to roll up your sleeves

Experience working with modern, cloud-based digital systems, SaaS, and fully digitized processes

Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing and motivating high-performing teams.

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. CPA designation is highly desirable.

Proven experience (10+ years) in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a leadership role within a complex organization.

Strong knowledge of financial analysis techniques, forecasting methodologies, and budgeting processes.

Extensive experience in financial modeling and data analysis using tools such as Excel, financial planning software, and business intelligence platforms.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

Maintains awareness of latest threats and campaigns targeting organizations and brings this awareness and education to customers through updates or newsletters

Works directly with technical engineers and other practice managers as well as non-technical end users

Ability to manage multiple technical staff simultaneously while ensuring production goals are met

Must be a team player with excellent communication skills at the business and technical level

Must understand overall security framework and solutions offered by top security vendors such as Palo Alto, Cisco, and Cylance

Experience in a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) environment preferred

5+ years of people management experience

Minimum of 8 years of prior work experience, ideally in financial management consulting and/or corporate finance role

Experience in change management and business process mapping in support or in conjunction with a major software implementation is a plus

Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Accounting, or Business preferred or relevant professional experience

Contribute to practice development through thought leadership, training development, internal intellectual property development, and management of internal practice processes

Demonstrated experience in translating customer business needs into dynamic solutions provide best in class value for our clients

Lead client engagements, serving as project lead and functional expert for our clients
