Field Services Support Technician Jobs

Relevant post secondary diploma in Computing studies or equivalent - combination of education and experience may be considered

Create and maintain Support Services documentation via an online knowledge base

1-3 years related experience in providing technical support to users, and working with computer systems, software, and hardware

Experience with diagnosing, resolving and documenting hardware and software issues on each job/ticket

Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, PC hardware, common office applications

Previous experience with retail point of sale systems and hardware is preferred

You have Technical training/Trade School certification/ Associate degree in Engineering Tech/BS Engineering or related industry experience

You have 2+ years of hands-on experience in design, assembly, and troubleshooting of mechanical & electrical systems (preferably manufacturing equipment specific)

You have fabrication or machine shop experience.

You are detail oriented and have experience working with small and fragile components

Robotics experience is a major plus

Work schedule: M-F, 8- 5 pm

Post-secondary certificate in electronics, information technology or related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered a substitution

4+ years experience as a technician in client service or relevant role

Experience testing and solving issues relating to computing, network, or point of sale terminals (POS).

Knowledge of computers, general networking concepts, internet usage, and Microsoft Office

Knowledge of oil field/ SAGD operations

Participate in on-call schedule; schedule can vary depending on time of year and jobs that need to be covered

Field sampling jobs may require out of town stay for short periods of time

Acting as on-site team member, supporting remote LOC Medical operations and sales staff.

Installing, troubleshooting, repairing, replacing, and diagnosing, computer and cloud based interactive systems, repairing CATV/IP television systems and electronic equipment.

Maintain administrative documentation (i.e. maintenance log book, repair tags, etc.) according to company standards.

This work includes, but if not limited to:

Experience supporting senior-level executives and management.

Respond to requests and incidents from our remote employees daily.

Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability in our remote environments.

Understanding project requirements and developing project plans to deliver on time through collaboration with different teams within Tesla.

Some planned travel to and from remote sites across regions, with occasional short-notice travel required.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Networking, Information Systems, or equivalent training/experience.

·Excellent relationship management, conflict resolution, and support for a customer service focus mindset.

·Patient management and Imaging software (Abeldent, Dentrix, Cleardent, Dexis, SiDexis, Carestream) is an asset.

·Extensive experience inserver and workstation migration, troubleshooting, deployment, and built

·Advanced knowledge of backup high availability and disaster recovery solutions

·Strong communication skills (English written and verbal)

·Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Knowledge: Strong time management skills including, experience successfully managing multiple small projects at one time

Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in a service capacity with rotating equipment

Experience in data acquisition, vibration analysis and field balancing preferred. CAT II or above is required.

Two years’ experience in installing electronic and/or mechanical systems.
