Fabrication Engineer Jobs

• Excellent relationship management skills, both internally and externally.

• 5+ years’ experience with engineering responsibility on fabrication projects.

• Experience working on project teams consisting of engineers and designers/drafters.

• High level of knowledge of Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers and other static equipment

• Strong knowledge of design codes such as ASME, API, TEMA, HEI, NACE, CSA etc.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

≥ 3 years of experience with integrated photonics fabrication and fabrication process development, especially in the fields of etch and/or lithography

Experience with data analysis and related software, such as Python, JMP, MATLAB, etc.

Excellent communication skills and strong sense of teamwork

≥ 5 years of experience with integrated photonics fabrication and fabrication process development, especially in the fields of etch and/or lithography

Experience working in a production environment for semiconductor and/or integrated photonics products

Experience with full product development cycle, from R&D through volume ramping

Proven track record of project management capabilities;

Engineering/Technical background in Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial engineering (other relevant education and experiences will be considered);

Familiar with formal management systems (ISO, H&S, Environment, etc.).

5 years practical experience in the plastics industry (Manufacturing or Engineering roles) particularly in the following areas:

Proven track record of continuous improvement accomplishments (Lean Six Sigma certification will be considered an asset);

Organize and manage the weekly production schedule aligned to the PMO portfolio

Ensure training and education of staff on new equipment, new systems and protocols

Work with QA and QC to create and manage product inspection systems as part of the quality performance assurance program

Facilitate employee hiring, training and development. Ensure training and education on specific tasks and Standard Operating Procedures

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in an engineering fabrication environment

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a leadership role in a fabrication environment
