Electrical Manufacturing Technician Temporary Jobs

Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management

Work with Quality Coordinator and Center Manager to identify and address quality concerns

Learn new skills and Cross-train into various departments

High School graduate or GED or equivalent experience.

2-4 years of previous experience in HVAC, carpentry, automotive/industrial equipment repair, or construction preferred

Knowledge of cutting tools (e.g., drills, etc.)

Monitors educational technology trends and stays current with emerging digital learning technologies.

In collaboration with the Coordinator, Digital Skills Services, create digital materials to support workshops for students and faculty.

Participate in researching and designing short activities to promote the creative use of technology for skills development.

Provide input into continuous improvement and delivery of services to improve the student and faculty experience.

Digital Application Skills Workshops And Events

Assist in creation and development of digital resources to support online learners including end-user guides, videos, animated gifs, etc.

Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail and time management skills.

Strong knowledge and experience with electronics, personal computers, and basic operating systems.

Work with team members and meet requirements of schedule, quality, and safety.

Relevant post-secondary education in Engineering/Science is preferred.

Experience working with electrical safety equipment, wrenches, hand tools, soldering iron, and specialized test equipment.

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Some working experience in manufacturing, operations or production required;

Some experience with mechanical or electronic equipment is a plus;

Computer skills, MS Office required;

Working hygienically in a controlled environment

Maintaining accurate documentation and record keeping

Work within a self-directed team environment

Excellent time management, prioritization skills, and attention to detail.

Following quality control requirements and documentation.

5 or more years of experience in electrical manufacturing assembly.

Ability to read electrical schematics and soldering experience.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Machine wiring, routing and terminating field wiring in devices
