Lonza Kingston is IMMEDIATELY hiring a Production Assembler or Manufacturing Technician who enjoys being hands on in a manufacturing and production environment to help with the assembly and testing of cutting-edge technology such as the Cocoon® Platform. The responsibilities include: removing parts from inventory, inspecting parts for quality, prepare required tools, fixtures and test equipment, assemble product, test for performance, and package. Measurements, assembly, record keeping among other activities, will require your continued precision, focus and care.


Key Responsibilities


  • Precision in: Measurements, Assembly, Testing (as per protocols), Record Keeping, Hygiene, Health & Safety
  • Work within a self-directed team environment
  • Working hygienically in a controlled environment
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and record keeping


Key Requirements


  • Must be able to use tools, fixtures, and test equipment;
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required;
  • Must be able to complete required Company Quality System Training
  • Some experience with mechanical or electronic equipment is a plus;
  • Some working experience in manufacturing, operations or production required;
  • Must be able to read technical documentation;
  • Computer skills, MS Office required;
  • Must enjoy the manufacturing environment and being hands-on;
  • Must be able to complete required Company specified health and safety training;
