At least five years of related work experience in real estate investments preferred

Experience as a mortgage originator

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field

Accompany and support Colliers International Real Estate Agents as required, with client interactions (joint calls) and relationship building.

Leading the credit management and communication processes as required.

Business degree with 6+ years' experience in Corporate Finance Debt Advisory, Debt Capital Markets, Commercial/Corporate Banking, or Private Debt.

Lead and proactively manage business relationships with lenders, partners and investors, to build full scope of deal initiation activities.

Coordinate internally with the finance team to ensure that reporting, covenants and all aspects of financing are in compliance.

Experience negotiating credit agreements and indentures.

Currently working as an Account Manager in an Insolvency Firm.

Relevant designation in accounting, finance, or management is an asset

Minimum 3 years’ experience in management

Participate in and manage projects to enhance the overall service offering

Management of personnel, including ongoing feedback, performance management, and recruitment

Manage daily operations to ensure SLAs are met in an efficient manner

Manage client relationships and be a point of escalation

Experience working in a consumer insolvency practice.

Working knowledge of how all consumer insolvency proceedings work.

Working knowledge of asset exemptions and key PPSA considerations combined with ability to investigate and assess asset valuations and prior transactions.

Strong organizational skills and ability to work well under pressure.

Strong written and verbal skills.

CAIRP Counsellor’s Qualification Course Certificate.Current registration with the OSB as an Insolvency Counsellor.

Demonstrated experience includes knowledge of the following:

Provide business solutions (while working with internal and external stakeholders) to analyze requirements and gaps and define/implement solutions as needed.

Stay current with new technologies, tools or applications and acquire new skills required to cater to changing demands.

10+ years’ experience supporting Debt Services.

Extensive experience in Loan Administration, with an understanding of Loan specific complexities, Asset maintenance and Lifecycle events

Exceptional communication skills to deliver information to diverse clients, stakeholders, and personnel at all levels within an organization.

Employee management experience a plus.

A background in capital markets and/or credit analysis and well-developed corporate finance skills;

A fast-paced, team-oriented work environment… Excellent communication skills are essential, as is a high productivity work-ethic and results oriented mindset.

Manage junior staff on a project-by-project basis to efficiently grow the research portfolio;

5-10 years of relevant experience;
