My client are seeking a Data Center Infrastructure Specialist & Project Manager to join their team.

Sourcing, preparing and installing equipment into Data Centers

Installing and maintaining Servers and Networks within Data Centers

Build standards of practice and procedures for operational processes including, ETL, validation, reference data, business rules and definitions.

Regularly monitor, evaluate, and improve the quality and integrity of enterprise data assets and identify potential impact on downstream analysis.

Maintain a single, trusted reference source for all relevant master data and data elements.

Serve as point of contact for external vendors and internal partners to coordinate and prioritize activities.

Organize and maintain catalog of all enterprise data assets.

Actively cultivate strong, positive, internal partnerships with multi-functional business

3+ years of professional software engineering experience

Experience working on microservices and/or asynchronous multithreaded applications

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Experience working in a Linux environment

Excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting directly with stakeholders

Experience with gRPC, http/REST and Websocket protocols

Knowledge of or familiarity with principal field business management systems: SAP, CMIS, PMIS and Prolog (P.O. and A/P) preferred

Analyzes and effectively communicates financial results of the project to upper level management

Manages the division of responsibilities and communication between various project & home office departments

12+ years of financial or controls experience in Construction/Engineering

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or an equivalent degree is require

Strong working knowledge of accounting including: general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax

Have a well-rounded Project Management knowledge base and the ability to quickly pickup and deliver projects across various applications and platforms.

Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum (i.e. PMP, Prince II)

Manage internal and external relationships and coordinates work between different teams globally.

Manage third party relationships and monitors their progress and adherence to the contract.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience

Must have experience delivering SAP projects

Solid client development and management skills.

Proven experience in facilitating and promoting a climate of internal collaboration of work share between different internal disciplines.

Minimum 7 years relevant and demonstrated industry experience.

Experience working with clients in both the public and private sectors.

Experience on municipal / government lead projects would be an asset.

Excellent oral and written communications skills.

A minimum 9 years of project management experience or equivalent.

Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) at all levels of the organization is required.

Full project lifecycle experience (starting and closing projects in 2-3 years timelines)

Experience in generation and stations capital projects. In lieu, other utility construction experience.in underground or civil greenfield or brownfield build projects.

ITIL v3 Foundations certification and PMP designation is an asset

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ability to interact and work collaboratively with senior Firm leadership.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to adjust messaging as appropriate to the audience

Experience implementing standard operating procedures and processes and proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline

Project Manager, Information Technology Services – Technology and Infrastructure

Employment Type: 6 months contract with high possibility of extension

7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on Azure and datacenter management.

Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale infrastructure projects on time and within budget.

‘Hands On’ management of the day-to-day activities

Oversee the design, implementation, and management of our IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, backup and Azure cloud services.

Willingness to assume new responsibilities with the changing business and technology requirements

Providing oversight and direction to a highly skilled team of technical specialists

Knowledge of best practices in Information Technology and management fields.

5+ years of experience at a management level.

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management

Strategic and analytical thinking skills with an ability to solve problems and make decisions.

Formal education or certification in computer programming, web-application frameworks and database design/management tools is a plus.

Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Apache Airflow, etc.

Database design/management tools: Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL OSIsoft PI system and knowledge of using NoSQL databases like MongoDB.

Project Management: Lean & Agile practices; user experience management; vendor management.
