Perform regular user-maintenance of the environmental and mechanical systems that provide power and HVAC to colocation and managed services customers.

4Months (50% Effort) Onsite as required, likely only a few site visits during this period/mainly remote

3Months (100% Effort) Onsite 50% of the time with 50% Remote

Experience – Data Centre Migration, Physical and Non-Physical Migration (Ie. Racks, Cables, Assembly etc…)

8Weeks (100% Effort) Working in Chalk River Daily

Closing old Data Centre (DC), migrating to new one nearby (both in Chalk River)

Familiar with DC migrations/transformations – ‘start to finish’.

Time management skills including the ability to multi-task, work with deadlines, and work under pressure.

Safely assess and produce rigging requirements for flats, flys, drops silks and any other flown equipment.

Problem-solving skills along with excellent customer service, interpersonal and team skills.

Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and an understanding and commitment to safe working practices.

Able to perform physical requirements of position lift 25 kg. objects, climb ladders etc.

Must understand the needs of the performing arts/entertainment sector, corporations, community groups, educational institutions, and other potential clients.

Ability to prioritize with good time management skills

Review and approve all facilities maintenance tasks/MOPS when required as part of change management system

Manage and track cooling capacity, temperatures, and efficiency throughout the Data Centers

Manage and track electrical capacity, UPS loads, customer consumption and breaker availability

Manage and document vendor provided preventive maintenances per the manufacturer’s specifications of all equipment

Manage installs against aggressive schedules

3-7 years experience designing data center cooling systems

Experience reviewing work in REVIT; Trane Trace or IES VE Energy Modeling software a plus

Create Conceptual Designs gathered from meeting with the client

Oversee Commissioning Process as needed

Work with Business Development Team to respond to RFPs as needed

Represent the company in project meetings

Well developed Customer Service Skills with customer service experience

Follow policies and procedures related to escalations, ticketing, and change management

Perform other duties as requested by Data Centre Management
