3+ years of experience in a similar role with the Construction, Development, Engineering, or Manufacturing sector

MUST have costing experience, they will be responsible for all project cost audits, as well as department budget reviews

Experience working on establishing and tracking annual budgets, and providing those reports to the Controller

Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Look Ups) and any ERP experience

Tracking project costs to budget and analyzing/ explain variances

Recording transactions, posting entries, preparing month-end close and internal financial reports

Provides management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.

Makes recommendations to management regarding cost saving or profit generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies.

Assists Senior Financial Analyst in their duties and responsibilities.

Assists organization's controller in the development of the budget, planning, and other corporate financial requirements.

Minimum of three to five years’ experience

Having Costing experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

* Can develop a baseline to measure performance using Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).

* Attention to detail is an essential job skill

* Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Projects, MS Excel (is a MUST), MS Word processing, PowerPoint

* Experience in a pharma/biotech/Life Science industry a plus.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Work Type: Hybrid (2-3 days a week)

Critically analyze bid documents and understand risk and opportunities and articulate those to management.

Manage and maintain subcontractor database and subcontractor prequalification.

Microsoft Office knowledge and experience

Able to manage multiple projects concurrently with ability to multitask.

Experience in the following Software: Bluebeam, AutoCAD 3D, Takeoff Software

Experience – 10 to 13 years

Excellent knowledge of and commitment to safety requirements.

5 years of experience on delivering big construction infrastructure projects as Construction Director or Project Director

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

A six-kilometre tunnel and associated tunnelling works from Exhibition to Don Yard portal (west of the Don River)

One above-ground station to be integrated with the existing GO Transit Exhibition Station

Two underground stations to be integrated with the existing TTC Osgoode and Queen subway stations

Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees.

2-3 years Extensive experience in Resources Loading and Cost Analysis

College and/or University degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks within a high-pressure work site environment

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).

Willingness for continuous learning and advancement of technical knowledge.

Post-secondary education, preferably in engineering, technical, construction, quantity surveying, business or related

8+ years of construction claims experience

Extensive knowledge of construction procurement methods, construction contracts, quantum claim techniques, loss of productivity calculations, change/risk assessment and dispute resolution methods

Excellent communication skills – interpersonal, written & presentation (academic report writing skills are essential to this position)

Expert knowledge of various forms of contract conditions is required

Thorough working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications

Prepare and present cost reports to management

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to budget and expense management

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field

3+ years of experience in cost control or related field

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Post-contract cost management including change order analysis, monthly cost reporting and payment certification

Managing commissions and participating on basic project and financial management responsibilities such as free tracking, invoice preparation etc.

Applying Value Management techniques at the outset of a project and where appropriate

Staff management– Input into performance review process of consultants and graduate consultants

Knowledge of and experience using CostX is an asset

Ensuring that cost analysis, cost checking and valuation work is managed effectively

To support the Project Team on costing management and control throughout the project life cycle.

Support Cost Management, Planning and Control activities on the project/programme

Support the Finance Project Manager in the monitoring of forecasted EAC (Estimated At Completion) at project/programme level:

Support and Lead on Work Pack Management activities, support EVM (Earned Value Management) efforts

Prepare costing during pre-tendering phase, based on product cost database and return of experience from project execution

Support the Bid manager in the preparation price submissions for various projects and work packages
